Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Hung Hom this morning (September 14) in which a 63-year-old woman was killed.
At about 9.40am, a private car driven by a 36-year-old woman was travelling along Lok Shan Road westbound. When approaching the junction with Kowloon City Road, it knocked down a 63-year-old woman who was crossing the road.
The woman sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where she was later certified dead at 15.05am.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West are under way.
