The Leisure and Cultural Services Department today (September 9) announced that all public libraries would close at 5pm on the Mid-Autumn Festival (September 22), with the exception of the South Lamma Public Library, which will close all day, and the North Lamma Public Library, which will close at 4.30pm that day.
Apart from individual libraries' closing days, opening hours of public libraries on the day following the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival (September 23) will be the same as those for public holidays. Details can be obtained from notices posted at all public libraries and the website: www.hkpl.gov.hk .
