Government youth portal launches revamped homepage (with photo)

     The government youth portal has launched its completely revamped homepage to better cater to young people and offer them a more user-friendly information platform. Set against an off-white background, the new homepage features a clear and simple design with hand-painted patterns to give it a fresh and contemporary look.

     Popular sections including "Career Kaleidoscope", "Information Centre", "Event Calendar" and "Culture Hub" are now grouped under the following three categories: "Survival Kit", "Interest Classes" and "Creativity" to make it easier for users to find what they need. On the left-hand side of the homepage, users can access the latest information on "What's Hot" and "Did you know¡K?". The website contents can also be shared through social networking sites such as Xanga, Twitter and Facebook.

     The latest highlights on the website include the "Shanghai Wall Post - Journey to Expo 2010" webpage and a special feature on "Visual Creativity: My World" Hong Kong International Students' Visual Arts Contest cum Exhibition in "Culture Hub". The video on Management Services Officer II in "Career Kaleidoscope" is not to be missed by anyone aspiring to a career in the civil service.
