About 38,000 sign condolence books to mourn HK victims in the Philippines

     About 37,900 people have signed condolence books at the 18 condolence points throughout the territory in the past three days to mourn the Hong Kong victims of the hostage incident in the Philippines.

     A spokesman for the Home Affairs Department said today (August 27) that the points of condolence in the 18 districts for the public to express their condolences and regards to the victims and their families had been open from 6pm on August 24 until 9pm yesterday (August 26).

     Members of the public may continue to post messages of condolence on the Facebook webpage set up by the Government ( www.facebook.com/hkmourning.manila ) and obtain information on what the Government is doing to help the bereaved families.
