Transcript of S for S' remarks
******************************

Following is the transcript (English portion) of the remarks made by the Secretary for Security, Mr Ambrose S K Lee, at a media session at the ground floor lobby, Main Wing, Central Government Offices today (August 25):

Reporter: What is the further action of the HKSAR Government in the coming days? And is there any possibility that the HK Government can join the investigation with the Philippine Government?

Secretary for Security: Now, there is no way that we can participate in the investigation of the incident. But we will urge the Philippine authorities to conduct a thorough, just and transparent investigation and we want their report to be ready as soon as possible.

Reporter: Is it that all the victims' families have agreed (for the bodies) to be examined by forensic scientists in Hong Kong?

Secretary for Security: Let's wait and see. The coffins will arrive late in the evening. We will inform the relatives of the deceased that there is a possibility that we will conduct an autopsy in Hong Kong.
