Services provided by Mobile Library 1 and 6 would be suspended at different periods in September for routine maintenance, a Leisure and Cultural Services Department spokesman announced today (August 23).
Service points of Mobile Library 6 to be affected from September 6 to 11 are Shau Kei Wan Main Street East, Lei Tung Estate and Ap Lei Chau Estate in Ap Lei Chau, Shek O Beach, and Fung Tak Estate in Wong Tai Sin. To enquire about the services of Mobile Library 6, please call 2505 4690.
Service points of Mobile Library 1 to be affected from September 6 to 13 are Lai Yiu Estate, Cho Yiu Chuen, Shek Lei Estate, Kwai Shing East Estate and Kwai Shing West Estate in Kwai Chung; Riviera Gardens and Sham Tseng in Tsuen Wan; and Cheung On Estate in Tsing Yi. To enquire about the services of Mobile Library 1, please call 2414 3157.
People are welcome to use other public libraries during the service suspension periods. They may also renew library materials by telephoning 2698 0002 or 2827 2833, or via the Internet at www.hkpl.gov.hk.
