Six men arrested for murder

     Police are investigating a murder in which a 24-year-man was killed in Tsim Sha Tsui early this morning (August 18).

     About 4am, Police received a report that a man was found attacked by some culprits outside 1 Knutsford Terrace.
 
     Police officers arrived at the scene and located three men and a woman, aged 20 to 29, sustaining injuries. They were taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

     Among the injured persons, a 24-year-old man, who sustained serious injuries to his abdomen, was subsequently certified dead at 11.15am. A post-mortem examination will be conducted tomorrow (August 19) to ascertain the cause of his death.

     After initial investigations, Police arrested six men, aged between 22 and 29, suspected in connection with the case. They will be detained overnight for further enquiries.

     Investigations by the District Crime Squad of Yau Tsim are proceeding.

     Police urged anyone who saw the incident or who has any information to offer to contact the investigating officers on 2731 7200.
