The Government Chief Information Officer (GCIO) today (August 17) announced that the Certificate Revocation List (CRL) automatically generated by the Hongkong Post Certification Authority (Hongkong Post CA) had been rectified to include information of all suspended or revoked certificates.
Hongkong Post CA has published a notice informing the public that the CRL issued since 9.15am on August 13, 2010, is complete. All parties who rely on Hongkong Post CA certificates can check the validity of certificates against this regularly published CRL, without the need to check against the supplementary list of revoked or suspended certificates issued on August 11, 2010.
