Organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, the summer fun party "Somewhere Over the Yummyland" will be held at Queen Elizabeth Stadium (QES) and Morrison Hill Road Playground this weekend (August 14 to 15) from 2.30pm to 5.30pm, featuring a variety of performances and workshops. Admission is free.
The various entertainments at the main stage in the QES basement include a magic show, puppet theatre excerpts, mime show, harmonica performance, dance performance, children theatre and acrobatic show.
There will also be interesting workshops on how to make towel-cakes, memo-pad fruit, cash milk-boxes and home-made badges, as well as paper-folding and "be a chef" workshops for children to join the fun. A graffiti wall will also be set up for children to display their creativity.
At Morrison Hill Road Playground, there will be a make-a-wish corner and "naughty" artists will roam around to entertain the public.
