The following is issued on behalf of the Commission on Youth:
To enhance communication with young people, the Commission on Youth (COY) is organising a series of exchange sessions and inviting government representatives to attend to provide youths with more opportunities to exchange views with them on topics of concern.
The Under Secretary for Transport and Housing, Mr Yau Shing-mu, will attend the Youth Exchange Session on August 31 to share his views on subsidising home ownership.
The session will be held between 6.30pm and 8pm at the Civic Education and Youth Resource Centre, Seventh Floor, Youth Square, 238 Chai Wan Road, Chai Wan, Hong Kong.
Interested parties can enrol through online registration on the homepage of the COY (www.coy.gov.hk/eng/news/news20100430.htm) or the government's youth portal (www.youth.gov.hk/apps/en/EventView.do?id=E10080500039). For enquiries, please call 2559 9973.
Enrolment will close on August 26. Ballots will be drawn should the number of enrolments exceed the capacity.
