SCED to attend APEC High-Level Policy Round Table in Japan

The Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mrs Rita Lau, will leave for Beppu, Japan today (August 6) to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Growth Strategy High-Level Policy Round Table.
During the meeting, ministers and participants from APEC economies will review and discuss the long-term growth strategy for the Asia-Pacific region.
On August 8, Mrs Lau will deliver a speech on innovative growth and share with APEC economies various initiatives pursued by the government in developing Hong Kong as a knowledge-based economy.
She will return to Hong Kong on Sunday (August 8).
