The Government announced today (August 5) the re-appointment of two incumbent members of the Committee on Slot Complaints for two years with effect from September 1, 2010. They are:
Mr Larry Kwok Lam-kwong
Mr Anthony Tan Engnam
A government spokesman said:"We are delighted that the two members have accepted the re-appointments. We are confident that they will continue to contribute to the work of the committee."
The Committee on Slot Complaints is an advisory body established under the Transport and Housing Bureau. It is responsible for considering complaints made by airlines/aircraft operators aggrieved by the decisions of the Schedule Coordinator concerning the allocation of slots for the airlines'/aircraft operators' seasonal services, with a view to giving advice on such complaints to the complainants, the Schedule Coordinator and the Scheduling Advisory Committee as appropriate.
The re-appointments will be published in the Gazette tomorrow.
