The Town Planning Board today (July 23) announced amendments to the approved Stonecutters Island Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).
The amendments mainly involved rezoning of a site bounded by Mei Ching Road, West Kowloon Highway, Hing Wah Street West and Container Port Road South from "Other Specified Uses" ("OU") annotated "Container Related Uses" and "OU" annotated "Petrol Filling Station" ("OU(PFS)") to "OU" annotated "Container Related Uses and Underground Sewage Treatment Works with Ancillary Above Ground Facilities", "OU(PFS)" and "Government, Institution or Community".
Revisions are also made to the Notes for the "Industrial" zone by incorporating a minor relaxation clause for plot ratio restriction and other technical amendments.
The draft Stonecutters Island OZP No. S/SC/9 incorporating the amendments is now available for public inspection during office hours at the Secretariat of the Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters in North Point and Sha Tin, the Tsuen Wan and West Kowloon District Planning Office, the Sham Shui Po District Office and the Kwai Tsing District Office.
Any person can make written representation in respect of the amendments to the Secretary of the Town Planning Board on or before September 24. Representations made to the Board will be available for public inspection.
Copies of the draft OZP are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version of the OZP can be viewed at the Board's website (www.info.gov.hk/tpb).
