The Director of Social Welfare, Mr Patrick Nip, today (July 15) paid a duty visit to senior Government officials and a variety of social welfare facilities in Macao.
Led by Mr Nip, a delegation of the Social Welfare Department arrived in Macao in the morning. The delegates met with the Director of the Social Welfare Bureau of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government, Mr Ip Peng-kin, and related officials and exchanged views on social welfare services.
They also visited some welfare facilities, including "Nossa Senhora de Fátima" Social Service Centre, "Lok Chun" Centre of Macao General Union of Neighbourhood Associations and S.K.H. Taipa Youth and Family Integrated Service Centre, for a better understanding of the financial assistance schemes and family services in Macao.
Accompanying Mr Nip were Deputy Director (Administration), Mr Fung Pak-yan, and Assistant Director (Family and Child Welfare), Mrs Anna Mak. The visit has been concluded in the evening.
