Police arrested a 57-year-old man suspected to be in connection with the death of his 52-year-old wife in Tseung Kwan O today (July 11).
About 5.50pm, Police received a report that a woman collapsed inside a flat in Choi Kwai House in Choi Ming Court.
Police sped to the scene and located the 52-year-old woman lying unconscious on the ground inside the flat. She sustained multiple chop wounds to her head and neck and was certified dead at scene.
Police seized a chopper at scene. The man was arrested for murder inside the flat after police investigation and is still being detained for further enquiries.
A post-mortem examination will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of death of the woman.
Investigations by the District Crime Squad of Kwun Tong are underway.
