Yuen Long No.3 alarm fire roundup

A large quantity of recycling materials comprising used electrical appliances and miscellaneous articles inside a recyclable storage site were severely damaged in a No.3 alarm fire in Pak Sha Tsuen, Yuen Long today (July 7).
The fire broke out at 5.21pm today, and was upgraded to No.3 alarm at 5.56pm. The fire was put out at 7.30pm.
Firemen used 6 jets and mobilised 6 breathing apparatus teams to fight the blaze.
A fireman who felt unwell was sent to Pok Oi Hospital for medical treatment. No suspicious circumstances were detected about the cause of the fire.
