Members of the public are invited to cast their votes for their favourite faces of Hong Kong via www.facesofhongkong.com from today (July 5).
The faces are pictures of people that were contributed to a photo mosaic project of the "Faces of Hong Kong" campaign which was launched at the end of March to kick off the revitalised Brand Hong Kong (BrandHK).
The project aims to bring BrandHK to life by using real stories and photos of people of all walks of life to showcase Hong Kong's dynamism, enterprising spirit and friendliness to the global audience. The public were invited to upload their photos of faces with captions to the BrandHK website to form different mosaics of Hong Kong to let people know more about our city.
Sixty entries were shortlisted from over 1,000 submissions received by the deadline on June 20. They are now posted on www.facesofhongkong.com for public voting. Online votes cast by public viewers will decide the winning photos.
Voting is simple. Just go to the website at www.facesofhongkong.com and select not more than three of your favourite photos and cast your vote. The owners of the three photos that get the most votes will each be awarded a digital camera, while the top 30 will each get a book voucher worth HK$300 and a BrandHK souvenir pack.
Results will be announced on July 26 on the website and winners will be notified individually by email.
