Police are investigating a traffic accident that happened in Tsuen Wan this afternoon (July 4) in which a 67-year-old woman died.
About 2.20 pm, a 50-year-old man was driving a coach along Mei Wan Street towards Kowloon bound. Arriving Discovery Park, the coach hit a 67-year-old woman and rammed to a private car, which parked at the road side of Mei Wan Street.
The woman sustained serious head injuries, was taken to Yan Chai Hospital, and was later certified dead at 3.37 pm.
The driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death. He is being detained for further enquiries.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team, Traffic New Territories South, are underway.
