Police are appealing for witnesses to a traffic accident in Tsuen Wan today (July 4) in which 28 persons were sustained injuries.
About 7.44am today, three buses were travelling in sequence along Tai Lam Tunnel towards Yuen Long. When approaching near the entrance of Tai Lam Tunnel, the first two buses were stopped for the road closure, the third bus reportedly failed to stop and rammed into the two buses from behind.
Nineteen men and nine women, aged 27 to 77, sustained injuries and were sent to Princess Margaret Hospital, Pok Oi Hospital and Yan Chai Hospital respectively.
Investigations by the Accident Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South are continuing.
