Change of cast in "GenS@HK21C" concert (with photo)

     Jonathan Wong, one of the artists performing in the "GenS@HK21C" concert on August 14 will change to perform on August 15, while ketchup will make up Jonathan's part on August 14.

     Presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, "GenS@HK21C" concert features a young crop of talented singer-songwriters including ketchup, FAMA, Swing, Louis Cheung, Pong Nan, Peco Chui, Jonathan Wong, Vicky Fung, Takki Wong, Yoyo Sham, and special guest Wong Ka-keung. Full of energy, character and diversity, this concert is a special treat for music lovers with a feast of original compositions for the 21st century.

     Details of the two concerts are:

*August 14, 7.30pm
Queen Elizabeth Stadium Arena
Performing artists: FAMA, Pong Nan, Vicky Fung, Peco Chui and ketchup
Special guest: Wong Ka-keung

*August 15, 3pm
Queen Elizabeth Stadium Arena
Performing artists: Swing, Yoyo Sham, Louis Cheung, ketchup, Takki Wong, and Jonathan Wong
Special guest: Wong Ka-keung

     No fancy special effects for these performers for whom less is more. Striking a fresh note, and employing lyrics from the heart, they share a slice of their lives, dreams, and mission to break boundaries through their collective passion for music. With Hong Ka-chun aka BFSH as the Executive Producer, Edward Chan @ novasonic as Music Director, POPM Design and Marketing Consultancy in charge of logistics, and Yvonne Siet and Wong Chi-chung as Curators and Producers, this spirited concert explores the infinite possibilities of creativity.       Ticket priced at $120, $180 and $240 are available at URBTIX outlets. Half-price tickets are available for full-time students, senior citizens aged 60 and above, people with disabilities and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance recipients.

     In addition, the "Generation Singer-Songwriters" will stage free performances at the Expo 2010 Shanghai China (Shanghai Expo) as a HKSAR cultural programme for the Shanghai Expo. The concert will be held on October 21 and 22 (Thursday and Friday) at 12noon, 2pm and 4pm at Celebration Square, Expo Park, Pudong.
