Retrofitting of noise barriers on Tai Po Tai Wo Road gazetted

The Government published a notice in the Gazette today (June 18) on the scheme for retrofitting of noise barriers on Tai Po Tai Wo Road from Chui Lok Street to Lam Tsuen River, which had been authorised by the Chief Executive in Council.
The works include construction of cantilevered noise barriers approximately 170 metres long and vertical noise barriers 70 metres long along the verge of the above section of Tai Wo Road; temporary closure and reinstatement of sections of the existing carriageways, footpaths, cycle tracks and sitting-out area; and ancillary works such as traffic aids and landscaping works.
