Temporary suspension of Mobile Library 2, 5 and 7 services

     Services provided by Mobile Library 2, 5 and 7 would be suspended from mid-June to early July for routine maintenance, a Leisure and Cultural Services Department spokesman announced today (June 14).

     Service points of Mobile Library 2 to be affected from June 21 to 26 are Kwong Yuen Estate, Lee On Estate and Yiu On Estate in Sha Tin; Wan Tau Tong Estate and Tai Yuen Estate in Tai Po; Sheung Tak Estate in Tseung Kwan O; Ta Kwu Ling in North District; and Cheong Shing Court in Fanling. To enquire about the services of Mobile Library 2, please call 2605 1071.

     Service points of Mobile Library 7 to be affected from June 24 to 30 are Whampoa Garden in Hung Hom; Hoi Fu Court in Mong Kok West; Sceneway Garden in Lam Tin; Ko Yee Estate in Yau Tong; Chuk Yuen (South) Estate in Wong Tai Sin; and Hoi Lai Estate in Sham Shui Po. To enquire about the services of Mobile Library 7, please call 2926 3056.

     Service points of Mobile Library 5 to be affected from June 28 to July 3 are Hin Keng Estate and Kam Tai Court in Sha Tin; Kin Ming Estate and Tsui Lam Estate in Tseung Kwan O; and Fu Shin Estate and Fu Heng Estate in Tai Po. To enquire about the services of Mobile Library 5, please call 2696 5842.

     People are welcome to use other public libraries during the service suspension periods. They may also renew library materials by telephoning 2698 0002 or 2827 2833, or via the Internet at www.hkpl.gov.hk.
