The Secretary for Transport and Housing, Ms Eva Cheng, visited Upper Wong Tai Sin Estate today (June 2).
She started her visit by touring the open space of the estate where she greeted tenants and members of the public.
"Through regular visits to public housing estates, the Secretary is able to listen directly to tenants' views on estate management issues," a spokesman for the Secretary's office said.
Ms Cheng then went to the Kowloon City Baptist Church Neighbourhood Elderly Centre at Yiu Sin House to meet some 50 members engaging in various activities there.
Before departure, she visited the nearby Lung Cheung Mall where she chatted with shoppers and shopkeepers.
To support the community campaign for the 2012 constitutional reform package, Ms Cheng also took the opportunity to distribute promotional flyers and pins to the people she met during today's visit.
