Police today (May 28) appealed for information on a body found in Western District on May 5.
About 2pm on May 5, Police received a report that the body of a man was found floating in the sea off New Praya Kennedy Town in Western District.
The body is believed to be a Chinese man aged about 40 to 60. The deceased was about 1.65 metres tall, weight about 59kg and of medium built. He was wearing a black checker shorts when being found.
Initial investigations revealed no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
The next of kin of the deceased or anyone who has information to offer is urged to contact the District Crime Squad of Marine District on 2803 6149 or any police station.
