The Hong Kong Space Museum has invited the NASA astronaut Commander Christopher Cassidy to be the speaker at a special lecture "NASA: Today and Tomorrow" next Wednesday (June 2).
Christopher Cassidy was the 500th human to enter space. He has participated in the assembly of the International Space Station, and performed three successful extravehicular activities during his shuttle missions. In the lecture, Commander Cassidy will provide an overview of his STS-127 mission (launched in July 2009), NASA and its future space programmes, and the status and prospects of the International Space Station.

Venue: Lecture Hall, Hong Kong Space Museum, 10 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon
The lecture, to be conducted in English, is admission-free with limited seats on a first-come-first-served basis.
