Police yesterday (May 23) arrested a 29-year-old man in Tsuen Wan in connection with the recent sex-worker robberies and appealed to the victims of the incidents to contact Police.
The appeal was made following the arrest of the man on Chuen Lung Street, Tsuen Wan last night. Investigations revealed that the man was suspected in connection with a spate of robberies in which most of the victims were sex-workers in the New Territories.
Investigation by officers of District Crime Squad of Tsuen Wan revealed that the robberies took place between March and May this year. The arrested man was charged with robbery and will appear at Tsuen Wan Magistrates' Courts tomorrow (May 25).
Police urged the victims or anyone who has any information to contact the investigating officers at 2417 5266 or 2417 5300.
