The Under Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Miss Adeline Wong, had a sharing session with students of Diocesan Boys' School today (May 24) on constitutional development.
Apart from briefing the students on the details of the Package of Proposals for the Methods for Selecting the Chief Executive and for Forming the Legislative Council in 2012 released last month, Miss Wong also took part in a lively question-and-answer session to respond to queries from both the students and the teaching staff.
In addition, Miss Wong was interviewed by the editors of the school magazine on a number of subjects.
At the invitation of the school as part of its civic education programme for its students, Miss Wong undertook the visit in a bid to enhance the studentsˇ¦ understanding of Hong Kong's constitutional development and to listen to their views.
