New District Officer for Wong Tai Sin assumes office (with photo)

Mr Willam Shiu Wai-chuen assumes the post of District Officer (Wong Tai Sin) today (May 10), succeeding Mrs Teresa Wong.
Mr Shiu joined the Administrative Service of the Government in 1979. He has served in various bureaux and departments, including the former Planning, Environment and Lands Bureau, the former Housing Bureau, the former Broadcasting, Culture and Sport Bureau, the Home Affairs Bureau, the Civil Service Bureau, the former Transport Bureau and the former Environment, Transport and Works Bureau.
His last posting was as the Registry Manager of the Land Registry.
