The following is issued on behalf of the Commission on Youth:
To enhance communication with young people, the Commission on Youth will organise a series of exchange sessions and invite government representatives to attend so that youths will have more opportunities to exchange views with them on topics of concern.
The Under Secretary for Home Affairs, Ms Florence Hui, will attend the first Youth Exchange Session organised by the Commission on Youth this Saturday (May 8) to share her views on local football development.
The session will be held between 2.30pm and 4pm at the Civic Education and Youth Resource Centre, Youth Square, 238 Chai Wan Road, Chai Wan, Hong Kong. Youths aged between 18 and 24 are welcome to join.
Interested parties can download the enrolment form from the homepage of the Commission on Youth (www.coy.gov.hk/eng/news/news20100430.htm) or the government's youth portal (www.youth.gov.hk/apps/tc/EventView.do?id=E10043000066), and return the completed form by fax to 2547 9528, or by email to youth@icc.com.hk. Enrolment will close on May 6. Ballots will be drawn should the number of enrolment forms received exceed the capacity.
Representatives of the Education Bureau and the Environment Bureau will attend the coming exchange sessions. Details will be announced later.
