Pop idol Eason Chan features in new music videos presenting Putonghua and English versions of the theme song for Hong Kong's participation at Expo 2010 Shanghai China (Shanghai Expo). The videos will be launched on local TV channels tomorrow (May 4).

The theme song music was composed by Eric Suen. Chan Siu-kei wrote the Cantonese and Putonghua lyrics while Chan, together with Ben Cheong penned the English lyrics.

The Chinese versions titled, "A City with Unlimited Potential", echo the theme of the Hong Kong Pavilion at Shanghai Expo. They also pay tribute to the core values and attributes that make Hong Kong Asia's world city.

The English version is titled "The City by Your Side". It conveys Hong Kong's bright future where people can make dreams come true and achieve a better life.

The Cantonese version of the theme song, which was launched earlier, was sung by Shanghai Expo, Hong Kong Ambassador, Jacky Cheung and five popular artistes including Eric Suen, Kay Tse, Hins Cheung, the band Mr. and Keeva Mak.

RTHK co-ordinated the production of the theme song as well as the short videos of the theme song to promote Hong Kong's participation at Shanghai Expo.
