Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Lok Ma Chau last night (April 22) in which a 36-year-old driver was killed.
About 10.13pm yesterday, a truck driven by a 45-year-old man was travalling along the outer lane of San Tin Interchange towards Yuen Long. When approaching near the junction with the slip road of Fanling Highway, it reportedly collided with a light goods vehicle driven by a 36-year-old man.
Sustaining serious injuries, the 36-year-old driver was sent to North District Hospital where he was later certified dead at 10.56pm yesterday.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team, Traffic New Territories North, are underway.
