The Land Registry has produced the 42nd edition of the Index of Streets, House Numbers and Lots in Hong Kong, Kowloon and New Kowloon (Street Index), and the 11th edition of the New Territories Lot/Address Cross Reference Table (CRT) on compact discs for convenient retrieval.
The Street Index and the CRT are designed to make land searches of properties easy by correlating available property addresses and buildings with land lot numbers. The new editions will go on sale on April 28.
Since the 41st edition of the Street Index, 397 amendments have been made and six new streets and 53 new lots/sections/subsections have been added to the Street Index data. As for the CRT, 2,610 amendments have been made and 20 new streets and 1,175 new lots/sections/subsections have been added since the 10th edition.
The Street Index and the CRT each cost $250 per compact disc.
Licences for the use of the 42nd edition of the Street Index and the 11th edition of the CRT compact discs on computer networks are also available for sale at the same time. Licence fees are $2,000 for computer networks linked to less than 50 terminals and $4,000 for computer networks linked to 50 terminals or more.
Purchasers of compact discs and licences must first complete the order forms, which are available at the information counter of the Land Registry's Customer Centre on 19/F, Queensway Government Offices, 66 Queensway, Hong Kong; the New Territories Search Offices; the Land Registry's homepage (www.landreg.gov.hk), or by fax through the customer services hotline 3105 0000.
The ordered compact discs and licences for the Street Index and the CRT will be available for sale at the Land Registry's customer centre on 19/F, Queensway Government Offices, and the New Territories Search Offices.
