Temporary suspension of mobile library services and relocation of service point
****************************************************

Services provided by Mobile Library 6 would be temporarily suspended from April 26 to May 8 for routine maintenance, a Leisure and Cultural Services Department spokesman announced today (April 19).

Service points to be affected are Shau Kei Wan Main Street East, Lei Tung Estate and Ap Lei Chau Estate in Ap Lei Chau, Shek O Beach, and Fung Tak Estate and Tsui Chuk Garden in Wong Tai Sin.

The service point of Mobile Library 9 at Tin Wan Estate in Aberdeen has been temporarily relocated due to maintenance work on the external wall of Tin Lai House. The service stop adjacent to Tin Lai House has been relocated to a site in front of the children's playground adjacent to Tin Lai House. The Tin Lai House service point will resume when maintenance work is completed.

The opening hours of the temporary service point remain unchanged: every Wednesday (except public holidays) from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 6pm.

To enquire about the services of Mobile Library 6 and 9, please call 2505 4690.

People are welcome to use other public libraries during the service suspension period. They may also renew library materials by telephoning 2698 0002 or 2827 2833, or via the Internet at www.hkpl.gov.hk
