Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Sham Shui Po this morning (April 13) in which a 89-year-old man was killed.
About 11.42am, a bus driven by a 50-year-old man was travelling along Tai Po Road towards Mong Kok. When approaching No. 240 Tai Po Road, the bus reportedly knocked down the 89-year-old man who was crossing the road.
The pedestrian sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to Caritas Medical Centre where he was certified dead at 2.06pm.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West are under way.
