The spokesperson of Tuen Mun Hospital (TMH) made the following announcement regarding a newly confirmed critical human swine influenza (HSI) case today (March 28):
A 43-year-old female patient with past good health attended the Accident & Emergency Department of TMH on March 27. The test result for human swine influenza was confirmed positive on the same day (March 27). The patient was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit for further treatment. She was prescribed with Tamiflu and antibiotics. She is in critical condition and requires ventilation support. The hospital is closely monitoring her condition.
