Strong Hong Kong Brand Underscores City's Success

     In its local and overseas efforts to promote Asia's business capital to the world, Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK) is delighted to support Brand Hong Kong (BrandHK).

     The Financial Secretary, Mr John C Tsang, unveiled the updated DNA of the revitalised BrandHK at a launch ceremony today (March 27) and kicked off a "Faces of Hong Kong" campaign that marks the Government's new marketing strategy to promote the city.

     "At Invest Hong Kong, we understand the importance of a strong Hong Kong brand. It helps to differentiate Hong Kong from its competitors and solidify its position as Asia's business capital," Director-General of Investment Promotion, Mr Simon Galpin, said.

     "A strong brand identity is vital when we go out to promote Hong Kong as the place for overseas, Mainland and Taiwanese companies to set up and expand their business. It supports us in our mission to attract to and retain in Hong Kong economically and strategically important investment. And it helps us in our vision to confirm and strengthen Hong Kong as the leading international business location in Asia Pacific," Mr Galpin said.
