The Lands Department announced today (March 26) that a site at Tung Chung Area 55b, Lantau, Tung Chung Town Lot No.37, had been successfully triggered for sale under the Application List System.
The lot will be offered for sale in the 2010-2011 financial year's first Government land auction to be held at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium, Wan Chai, on May 11, 2010.
A Lands Department spokesman said that the Government had accepted the applicant's minimum guaranteed bid of $2,876 million for the lot. This will be the opening bid at the auction subject to the reserve price of the lot.
Tung Chung Town Lot No.37 has a site area of about 26,200 square metres and is designated for non-industrial (excluding godown, office, hotel and petrol filling station) purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area for private residential purposes are 78,600 square metres and 131,000 square metres respectively.
The final Conditions of Sale for the lot will be available for distribution and uploaded onto the Lands Department's website (www.landsd.gov.hk) by April 23, 2010, when the particulars of the land auction will be gazetted.
