The Town Planning Board today (March 26) announced amendments to the approved Kennedy Town and Mount Davis Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).
The amendments include deletion of the previously proposed alignments of Route 7 and the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) West Island Line (WIL), incorporation of the MTR WIL authorised by the Chief Executive in Council under the Railways Ordinance (Chapter 519) on March 10, 2009, as well as rezoning of a site at Forbes Street from "Comprehensive Development Area (1)" to "Open Space" and "Green Belt".
The draft Kennedy Town and Mount Davis OZP No. S/H1/17, incorporating the amendments, is now available for public inspection during office hours at the Secretariat of the Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters in North Point and Sha Tin, the Hong Kong District Planning Office and Central and Western District Office.
Any person may make written representation in respect of the amendments to the Secretary of the Board on or before May 26. Representations made to the Board will be available for public inspection.
Copies of the draft Kennedy Town and Mount Davis OZP No. S/H1/17 are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version of the OZP can be viewed at the Board's website (www.info.gov.hk/tpb).
