A well-received annual summer programme, the camp offers young musicians the opportunity to receive training from renowned overseas and Mainland musicians and share the experience with other budding musicians in a scenic environment.

The "2010 Hong Kong Youth Music Camp" will be held from July 25 to 31 (Camp A) and August 1 to 7 (Camp B) at the Lei Yue Mun Park and Holiday Village in Chai Wan. Qualified local young musicians aged nine to 25 are welcome to apply. The fee is $935 per person for the seven-day-and-six-night music camp.

Two concerts will be held in August at the conclusion of the camp to showcase the campers' achievements.

Application forms are available at the Music Office's music centres, or from the website, www.lcsd.gov.hk/musicoffice . The deadline for applications for the residential camp is April 28 and the deadline for the day camp is May 18.
