Police are investigating a suspected homicide and suicide case in Kwai Chung this evening (March 24) in which a 64-year-old man and his 33-year-old daughter died.
About 7.38pm, the Police received a report that a man and a woman were found unconscious in a flat at Shek Sau House, Shek Lei Estate where strong smell of gas was detected. Police officers sped to the scene and located the duo inside the flat. The man and the woman were rushed to Princess Margaret Hospital where they were certified dead at 8.27pm and 8.35pm respectively.
Post-mortem examinations will be conducted tomorrow (March 25) to ascertain the cause of their death.
Investigations by the District Investigation Team of Kwai Tsing are underway.
