The spokesperson of United Christian Hospital (UCH) today (March 19) announced a new critical case of human swine influenza (HSI):
A 43-year-old male patient with good past health attended the Accident and Emergency Department of UCH on March 18 due to persistent flu symptoms over one week. He was directly admitted to the Intensive Care Unit for further treatment due to severe pneumonia and was prescribed with Tamiflu and antibiotics. His test for HSI was confirmed as positive today (March 19). He is in critical condition and requires ventilatory support. The hospital will continue to closely monitor his condition.
