Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Wong Tai Sin this (March 9) morning in which a 78-year-old woman was killed.
About 9.10am, a public light bus (PLB) driven by a 53-year-old man was travalling along Tseuk Luk Street toward Hong Keung Street. When approaching 86 Tseuk Luk Street, the PLB reportedly knocked down a 78 year-old female pedestrian who was crossing the road.
The woman sustained serious head injuries and was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where she was certified at 9.37am.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team, Traffic Kowloon East, are underway.
