Police are investigating a traffic accident in Tsuen Wan early this morning (March 9) in which a 52-year-old man was killed.
About 3.50am, a light goods vehicle (LGV) driven by a 52-year-old man was travelling along Tuen Mun Road towards Kowloon. When reaching near Ting Kau Bridge, the LGV reportedly crashed into a works vehicle which was stopped on the second left lane and subsequently hit the central divider.
The driver sustained serious injuries and was taken to Yan Chai Hospital where he was certified dead at 4.49am.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South are proceeding.
