The Shenzhen Wenjindu Port Passenger Clearance Area has been closed from February 22 for reconstruction works.
The Government has communicated with the relevant Mainland authorities and requested for additional facilities during the closure of Wenjindu Port Passenger Clearance Area in order to minimise the inconvenience caused to the public, a government spokesman said today (March 1). The Mainland authorities have agreed in principle to provide clearance service to travellers using limited cross-boundary coach service running between Sheung Shui and Man Kam To during rush hours, both in the morning and in the evening. The government department concerned is working out the details with the cross-boundary bus service providers. Announcement will be made once the service is confirmed.
The spokesman reminds cross-boundary visitors to plan their trips well in advance and check the latest traffic conditions.
