A 38-year-old woman died and her seven-year-old boy was missing after the duo was reportedly fell into the sea off Tsing Yi South Bridge today (Friday).
About 2 pm, Police received several reports that a 38-year-old woman and a boy were seen fallen into the sea off Tsing Yi South Bridge.
The woman was later rescued and sent to Princess Margaret Hospital where she was certified dead at 14.38 hours. The son of the woman is not found so far. The search of the missing boy continues.
A post-mortem examination will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of the woman's death.
Investigations by the District Crime Squad of Kwai Tsing are underway.
