Special traffic arrangements for marathon

     Police will implement special traffic arrangements along the routes in West Kowloon, New Territories South and on Hong Kong Island to facilitate the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon to be held on this Sunday (February 28).

     Runners will join three races, namely a 10-kilometre run, a half-marathon and a marathon.

     The runners of the half-marathon and a marathon will start in Tsim Sha Tsui, pass through Western Harbour Crossing and end at the Victoria Park in Causeway Bay. The races will start at 6am and will last for about six hours.

     Meanwhile, the 10-kilometre run will take place on Hong Kong Island starting from 5.15am onwards. The runners will start from eastbound Island Eastern Corridor (IEC) near City Garden, run along IEC and end at the Victoria Park in Causeway Bay.

     The arrangements are as follows:

Kowloon West
------------

(A) Road closures and diversions

Traffic arrangements in Kowloon will be implemented in phases as follows:

Phase I ¡V starting from 1am

     The road closures are as follows:

(a) The slip road from northbound Lin Cheung Road leading to southbound West Kowloon Highway will be closed at its junction with Lin Cheung Road.
(b) Southbound Lin Cheung Road will be closed near the slip road to Tsim Sha Tsui.
(c) A slip road from northbound Hoi Wang Road leading to southbound West Kowloon Highway will be closed at its junction with Hoi Wang Road.
(d) The bus lane entrance from Jordan Road to the Western Harbour Crossing bus terminus will be closed at its entrance at westbound Jordon Road.

     The traffic diversions will be implemented as follows:

(a) Vehicles along northbound Lin Cheung Road cannot turn onto the slip road leading to southbound West Kowloon Highway;
(b) Vehicles along southbound Lin Cheung Road will be diverted to the slip road heading Tsim Sha Tsui;
(c) Vehicles along northbound Hoi Wang Road cannot turn onto the slip road leading to southbound West Kowloon Highway;
(d) Vehicles along westbound Ngo Cheung Road cannot turn onto the slip road leading to southbound West Kowloon Highway;
(e) Vehicles along westbound Jordan Road elevated road cannot turn left onto the bus lane leading to Western Harbour Tunnel Bus Stops.

Phase II ¡V starting from 2am

     The following road closures will be implemented:

(a) A section of southbound Nathan Road between Kimberley Road and Middle Road will be closed;
(b) A section of northbound Nathan Road between Salisbury Road and Bowring Street will be closed;
(c) A section of westbound Kimberley Road between Nathan Road and Carnavon Road will be closed;
(d) A section of Granville Road between Carnarvon Road and Nathan Road will be closed;
(e) A section of Cameron Road between Cameron Lane and Nathan Road will be closed;
(f) Humphreys Road will be closed;
(g) A section of Carnarvon Road between Bristol Avenue and Nathan Road will be closed;
(h) A section of Mody Road between Carnarvon Road and Nathan Road will be closed;
(i) A section of Peking Road between Lock Road and Nathan Road will be closed; and
(j) A section of Middle Road between Hankow Road and Nathan Road.

     The traffic diversions will be implemented as follows:

(a) Traffic along Salisbury Road cannot turn onto northbound Nathan Road;
(b) Traffic along southbound Nathan Road will be diverted onto eastbound Kimberley Road;
(c) Traffic along northbound Carnarvon Road cannot turn onto westbound Kimberley Road;
(d) Traffic along northbound Carnarvon Road cannot turn onto westbound Granville Road;
(e) Traffic along southbound Carnarvon Road will be diverted onto southbound Bristol Avenue.

Phase III ¡V starting from 4.30am:

The following roads will be closed:

(a) Southbound Kowloon Park Drive;
(b) Ashley Road;
(c) Hankow Road;
(d) Lock Road;
(e) A section of Haiphong Road between Canton Road and Lock Road;
(f) Ichang Street;
(g) A section of Peking Road between Kowloon Park Drive and Lock Road; and
(h) A section of Middle Road between Kowloon Park Drive and Hankow Road.

Traffic diversions will be implemented as follows:

(a) Traffic along southbound Canton Road cannot turn onto southbound Kowloon Park Drive;
(b) Traffic along southbound Canton Road cannot turn onto Haiphong Road;
(c) Traffic along northbound Kowloon Park Drive cannot turn onto eastbound Peking Road.

Phase IV ¡V starting from 5.40am

The following roads will be closed:

(a) To Wah Road and To Wah Road Bus Terminus;
(b) A section of eastbound Jordan Road elevated road between Hoi Po Road and Lin Cheung Road;
(c) A section of eastbound Jordan Road between Lin Cheng Road and Ferry Street;
(d) A section of westbound Jordan Road between the entrance of its elevated road and Lin Cheung Road;
(e) A section of westbound Wui Cheung Road between Lin Cheung Road and Canton Road;
(f) A section of eastbound Austin Road West between Lin Cheung Road and Canton Road;
(g) Min Street;
(h) A section of Bowring Street between Canton Road and Temple Street;
(i) A section of Bowring Street between Woosung Street and Nathan Road;
(j) A section of Austin Road between Canton Road and Cox¡¦s Road;
(k) Hillwood Road;
(l) A section of eastbound Kimberley Road between Nathan Road and Carnarvon Road;
(m) A section of northbound Lin Cheung Road and its slip road between Austin Road West and Lin Cheung Road / West Kowloon Highway respectively;
(n) A section of southbound Lin Cheung Road and its slip road between Jordan Road and the junction points with southbound Lai Cheung Road;
(o) A section of southbound Lin Cheung Road and its slip road between Jordan Road and the junction points with the eastbound slip road leading to Waterloo Road;
(p) A section of northbound Lin Cheung Road between Austin Road West and Wui Cheung Road;
(q) Wui Man Road;
(r) A section of northbound Canton Road between Wui Cheung Road and Austin Road;
(s) A section of southbound Canton Road between Jordan Road and Austin Road;
(t) Kwun Chung Street;
(u) Scout Path;
(v) A section of Shanghai Street between Jordan Road and Austin Road;
(w) A section of Temple Street between Bowring Street and Austin Road;
(x) A section of Woosung Street between Bowring Street and Austin Road;
(y) A section of Parkes Street between Jordan Road and Austin Road;
(z) A section of Pilkem Street between Jordan Road and Austin Road;
(aa) A section of northbound Nathan Road between Jordan Road and Bowring Street;
(bb) A section of southbound Nathan Road between Jordan Road and Kimberley Road; and
(cc) Pine Tree Hill Road.

Traffic diversions will be implemented as follows:

(a) Traffic along northbound Hoi Po Road cannot turn right onto eastbound Jordan Road elevated road;
(b) Traffic along southbound Lin Cheung Road slip road leading to Nga Cheung Road cannot turn onto eastbound Jordan Road;
(c) Westbound Jordan Road between Ferry Street and Lin Cheung Road, southbound Lin Cheung Road between Jordan Road and Wui Cheung Road, eastbound Wui Cheung Road between Lin Cheung Road and Canton Road, and northbound Canton Road between Wui Cheung Road and Jordan Road will be restricted for use by franchised buses only;
(d) Traffic along westbound Jordan Road will be diverted to turn right onto northbound Ferry Street;
(e) Traffic along Jordan Road cannot turn onto southbound Shanghai Street;
(f) Traffic along southbound Woosung Street will be diverted to turn right onto westbound Bowring Street;
(g) Traffic along westbound Bowring Street will be diverted to turn right onto northbound Temple Street;
(h) Traffic along southbound Lin Cheung Road will be diverted to turn into the slip road leading to Nga Cheung Road;
(i) Traffic along eastbound slip road leading from northbound West Kowloon Highway to Waterloo Road cannot turn onto the slip road leading to Jordan Road.
(j) Traffic along Austin Road West cannot turn onto northbound Lin Cheung Road;
(k) Traffic on Austin Road West roundabout cannot turn onto eastbound Austin Road West;
(l) Traffic along westbound Austin Road West cannot turn onto Wui Man Road;
(m) Traffic along northbound Canton Road will be diverted to turn left onto westbound Austin Road West;
(n) Traffic along southbound Nathan Road will be diverted to turn right onto westbound Jordan Road;
(o) Traffic along westbound Jordan Road cannot turn onto southbound Nathan Road; and
(p) Traffic along Southbound Cox¡¦s Road will be diverted to turn left onto eastbound Austin Road.

Phase V - Re-opening of the roads

     When all runners have entered West Kowloon Highway and all equipment along the route has been safely removed, all road closures and diversions in Phase II to Phase IV will be lifted. However, all road closures and diversions in Phase I will remain in force.

1. Upon arrival of the last runner to the West Kowloon Highway, the carriageways in Tsim Sha Tsui will be re-opened firstly.
2. Later, when the set-up along Nathan Road is dismantled and the roads are cleaned and cleared, Nathan Road and its approaching roads will be re-opened.
3. Upon the last runner has entered the Western Harbour Crossing, the section of West Kowloon Highway between Lin Cheung Road and toll booths as well as Western Harbour Crossing will be reopened to traffic.

(B) Suspension of Bus Terminus

All franchised bus terminus, bus stops, Green Mini Bus stops within the affected area will be suspended. Details are as follows:

(a) To Wah Road Bus Terminus will be suspended at 5.40am;

(b) Franchised buses on southbound Nathan Road will be truncated /diverted onto westbound Public Square Street and Jordan Road respectively;

(c) Buses leaving Western Harbour Tunnel from Hong Kong Island will be held at the junction of Jordan Road and Lin Cheung Road until the roads are reopened.  Buses can use the slip road leading to Yau Ma Tei Interchange for the area around Lai Cheung Road, Ngo Cheung Road, Waterloo Road and Ferry Street;

(d) Buses going to Star Ferry Bus Terminus, via Chatham Road South and Salisbury Road, will not be affected;

(e) Temporary Bus Terminus will be set-up along the section of southbound Lin Cheung Road between Jordan Road and Wui Cheung Road, the section of eastbound Wui Cheung Road between Lin Cheung Road and Canton Road, and the section of Canton Road between Jordan Road and Saigon Street.

(C) Emergency Vehicle Access (EVA)      

Two EVAs will be set up as follows:

(a) The nearside hard shoulder of southbound West Kowloon Highway between Mei Ching Roundabout and the toll booth of Western Harbour Crossing;
(b) The nearside hard shoulder on the southbound slip road between Stonecutter¡¦s Bridge and West Kowloon Highway.

(D) Car park & Hotel Access

     Vehicular access to and from hotels and car parks within the affected area will not be allowed during the respective phases of road closures.

(E) On-street Parking

     On-street parking, except metered parking spaces at Kimberley Road and the section of Canton Road between Jordan Road and Saigon Street, will not be suspended. As certain roads will be closed for the race, vehicles parked there will be prohibited to move or enter the race route. All vehicles parked in a way causing obstruction will be towed away.

(F) Closures at Airport Express Kowloon Station

     When the phase IV road closures are implemented, access to the Kowloon Station will only be possible via Nga Cheung Road leading from westbound Austin Road West. Vehicles leaving the Kowloon Station during Phase IV will be diverted to use Nga Cheung Road, eastbound Austin Road West, Austin Road West Roundabout, westbound Austin Road West, Nga Cheung Road Flyover and northbound Hoi Po Road until the roads are re-opened.

(G) Closures at China Hong Kong City Terminal (CHKCT)

     During the phase IV road closure, access to CHKCT will only be possible via westbound Salisbury Road and northbound Kowloon Park Drive. Vehicles leaving CHKCT during Phase IV will be diverted to use northbound Canton Road, westbound Austin Road West, Nga Cheung Road Flyover and Hoi Po Road.

New Territories South
---------------------

(A) Road closures:

     The following road closures/traffic diversions will be implemented from the specific period until about 2pm on February 28 or when it is safe to re-open the roads to normal vehicular traffic.

Phase I - Will be implemented from 0.01am on February 28:

1. The slip road from Tsing Yi Hong Wan Road Roundabout to Kowloon-bound Stonecutter Bridge will be closed;
2. Slip road from eastbound Container Port Road South to eastbbound Ngong Shuen Chau Viaduct will be closed;
3. Kowloon-bound carriageway of Tsing Ma Bridge will be completely closed and all traffic from North Lantau Highway will be diverted to use the lower deck. Resident vehicles from Ma Wan Park Island will be allowed to "U-turn" and use the Kowloon-bound carriageway of Tsing Ma Bridge to access the lower deck;
4. One lane of southbound Tai Lam Tunnel will remain open. All traffic will be diverted to Kowloon-bound Tuen Mun Road; and
5. The slip road from Kowloon-bound Tuen Mun Road leading to Ting Kau Bridge will be closed.

Phase II - Will be implemented from 0.30am on February 28:

1. Traffic from Kowloon-bound Cheung Tsing Highway to Cheung Tsing Tunnel will be diverted to Tsing Yi Road West;
2. The slip road from Kwai Tsing Road leading to Kowloon-bound Tsing Kwai Highway will be closed;
3. The slip road from Kowloon-bound Kwai Chung Road and Kowloon-bound Tsuen Wan Road leading to Kowloon-bound Tsing Kwai Highway will be closed; and
4. The Mei Tsing Interchange heading to Kowloon-bound West Kowloon Expressway will be closed, except that traffic leaving the Container Terminal via Roundabout No.6 and the Mei Tsing Interchange to access Tsing Kwai Highway heading New Territories. Roundabout No.6 to Mei Ching Road will be reduced to one lane.

Phase III - Will be implemented from 10.30am on February 28:

Eastbound Ngong Shuen Chau viaduct will be closed. Traffic from Kowloon-bound Stonecutter Bridge will not be allowed to go to Kowloon-bound West Kowloon Highway and will be diverted to slip road from Hing Wah Street West.

(A) Road closures and traffic diversion:

     Depending on the exact finishing time or when situation warrants, the following road closures will be implemented:

Phase I - From 1am to about 2pm:

1. The Hong Kong bound Western Harbour Crossing Tunnel.

Phase II - From 2.30am to about 2pm:

Road closures:

1. A section of eastbound Connaught Road West Flyover between Shing Sai Road and Rumsey Street;
2. The first and second right traffic lanes of eastbound Connaught Road Central between Rumsey Street and Pedder Street underpass entrance;
3. The eastbound Pedder Street underpass;
4. The first and second right traffic lanes of eastbound Connaught Road Central between the exit of Pedder Street underpass and Harcourt Road Flyover; and
5. The eastbound Harcourt Road Flyover.

Traffic diversion:

1. Traffic along northbound Hill Road flyover will be diverted to eastbound Connaught Road West at grade;
2. Traffic along eastbound Shing Sai Road will be diverted to eastbound Connaught Road West; and
3. Traffic along westbound Fenwick Pier Street will be diverted to Fenwick Pier Street flyover.

Phase III - From 6am to about 2pm:

4. Traffic along westbound Harcourt Road will be prohibited from making 'U' turn onto eastbound Harcourt Road;
5. Traffic along northbound Fleming Road will be prohibited from turning right onto eastbound Convention Avenue and diverted to southbound Fleming Road or westbound Convention Avenue;
6. Traffic along northbound Tonnochy Road flyover will be diverted to turn left onto westbound Harbour Road;
7. Traffic along southbound Fleming Road will be prohibited from turning left onto eastbound Harbour Road;
8. Traffic along eastbound Harbour Road will be diverted to turn left onto northbound Fleming Road;
9. Vehicles exiting from carparks along eastbound Harbour Road will be diverted to turn right onto westbound Harbour Road;
10. Traffic along northbound Harbour Drive will be diverted to turn left onto westbound Harbour Road.
11. Traffic along northbound Marsh Road will be diverted to Gloucester Road service road or ¡¥U¡¦ turn onto southbound Marsh Road for Jaffe Road;
12. Traffic along Gloucester Road service road will be prohibited from turning left onto southbound Percival Street;
13. A section of Jaffe Road between Percival Street and Canon Street will be re-routed from one-way westbound to one-way eastbound (for Green Minibuses only);
14. Traffic along eastbound Lockhart Road will be diverted to northbound Marsh Road at grade;
15. Vehicles on eastbound Jaffe Road will be diverted to northbound Percival Street, except for Green Minibuses;
16. Traffic along eastbound Hennessy Road will be prohibited from turning left onto Marsh Road (If necessary);
17. Traffic along Tin Lok Lane heading for northbound Marsh Road will be prohibited and must turn left or right onto westbound or eastbound Hennessy Road respectively (if necessary); and
18. Traffic along southbound Man Yiu Street will be prohibited from turning left onto eastbound Lung Wo Road.

(B) Lifting of Pedestrian Precinct:

     The Chater Road Pedestrian Precinct will be re-opened to traffic during the road closure and resumed at about 3pm or all major road closures on Hong Kong Island are re-opened to vehicular traffic.

(C) Extension of Lockhart Road, East Point Road and Great George Street Pedestrian Precinct:

     Road closure for the pedestrian precinct at Lockhart Road (between Cannon Street and East Point Road), East Point Road and Great George Street (between East Point Road and Paterson Street) will be extended from zero hour to 11.59pm on February 28. The roads will re-opened to all vehicular traffic from zero hour on March 1.

(D) Suspension of parking spaces:

     The parking spaces at the following locations will be suspended from zero hour to 3pm:

1. Lung King Street;
2. The coach parking spaces at Expo Drive East;
3. A section of eastbound Lockhart Road between Marsh Road and Percival Street; and
4. A section of Jaffe Road between Percival Street and Cannon Street.

(E) Restriction on access to/exit from carparks and hotels on closed roads:

     Vehicular access to/from the carparks at Great George Street and Park Lane Hotel will be closed from 6am to 2pm. Vehicles parked in carparks within the closed areas will not be permitted to leave the carparks during the road closure period until the roads are re-opened for normal traffic.

(F) Suspension of taxi stands:

     The taxi stands at the following locations will be suspended from zero hour to 3pm:

1. Tim Mei Avenue;
2. Expo Drive East;
3. Paterson Street; and
4. Lockhart Road near Cannon Street.

(G) Suspension of public light bus stands:

     The public light bus stands at the following locations will be suspended from zero hour to 3pm:

1. Sugar Street; and
2. The eastbound Lockhart Road near Canal Road West.

(H) Suspension and relocation of green minibuses (GMB) stands:

     The GMB stands at the following locations will be suspended/relocated from zero hour to 3pm:

1. Paterson Street;
2. Cannon Street; and
3. Lockhart Road.

     The GMB stands at Cannon Street and Lochart Road will be relocated to the re-routed Jaffe Road between Cannon Street and Percival Street.

     The GMB stands at Tin Hau Public Transport Interchange will be suspended from 4am to 7.30am.

(I) Suspension of bus stops:

     The following bus stops will be suspended when the first runner reaches Hong Kong Island from about 6am and will be opened once the traffic diversions on Connaught Road Central and Cotton Tree Drive Interchange are lifted at about 2pm:

1. Bus stop outside City Hall, eastbound Connaught Road Central;
2. Bus stop outside Lippo Centre, southbound Cotton Tree Drive; and
3. Bus stops at the northbound Fleming Road, the eastbound Convention Avenue and the eastbound Harbour Road.

(J) Relocation of bus terminus:

     The bus terminus at Expo Drive East will be re-located to Wan Chai Ferry Pier Bus Terminus from zero hour to 2pm.

10 Km Race

(A) Road closures and traffic diversion:

     Depending on the exact finishing time or when situation warrants, the following road closures will be implemented:

Phase I - From 2am to about 9am:

2. Traffic along Hing Fat Street heading for eastbound Island Eastern Corridor and eastbound Eastern Harbour Tunnel will be diverted to Gordon Road, Electric Road and Java Road;
3. Traffic along Java Road and Man Hong Street for eastbound Island Eastern Corridor and Eastern Harbour Tunnel will be diverted to Java Road and King's Road;
4. Traffic along Taikoo Wan Road for eastbound Island Eastern Corridor will be diverted to King's Road and Shau Kei Wan Road;
5. Traffic diverted to eastbound Java Road and eastbound King¡¦s Road can acess to Easteren Harbour Crossing via Hong On Street; and
6. Traffic from Eastern Harbour Tunnel exit for eastbound Island Eastern Corridor will be diverted to use Tai On Street and Shau Kei Wan Road.

Phase II - from 2am to about 10am:

12. A section of westbound Victoria Park Road between the down ramp of westbound Island Eastern Corridor and Gloucester Road (except the slow lane leading to Gloucester Road service road).  

Traffic diversion:

1. Traffic along westbound Island Eastern Corridor will be diverted to Nam On  Lane and Shau Kei Wan Road;
2. Traffic along Nam On Lane and Nam Hong Street heading for westbound Island Eastern Corridor will be diverted to westbound Nam On Street, Sun Sing Street and Shau Kei Wan Road;
3. Traffic along Chai Wan Road heading for westbound Island Eastern Corridor will be diverted to Shau Kei Wan Road;
4. Traffic diverted to westbound Shau Kei Wan Road can access to Eastern Harbour Crossing via Tai Ning Street, Sai Wan Ho Street and Tai Hong Street;
5. Traffic along Tai Hong Street will only be allowed for access to Eastern Harbour Crossing and Lei King Wan. Traffic heading for westbound Island Eastern Corridor will be diverted to Tai Hong Street, Hong Cheung Street, Tai On Street and Shau Kei Wan Road;
6.Traffic along westbound Oi Shun Road for westbound Island Eastern Corridor will be diverted to Oi Yee Street and Shau Kei Wan Road;
7. Traffic along Hong On Street will be only for access to Eastern Harbour Crossing. Traffic heading for westbound Island Eastern Corridor will be diverted to westbound Hong On Street and King's Road. Traffic along Hong Yue Street (except those heading to Eastern Harbour Crossing) will be diverted to westbound Hong On Street;
8. Traffic along Taikoo Wan Road slip road for westbound Island Eastern Corridor will be diverted to Taikoo Shing Road and King's Road;
9. Traffic from Eastern Harbour Crossing exit for westbound Island Eastern Corridor will be diverted to Man Hong Street and King's Road (until 5am);
10. Traffic along westbound King's Road slip road junction with Healthy Street Central slip road heading for westbound Island Eastern Corridor will be diverted to westbound King's Road;
11. Traffic along westbound King's Road junction with Tong Shui Road slip road heading for westbound Island Eastern Corridor will be diverted to King's Road;
12. Traffic along Tong Shui Road heading for westbound Island Eastern Corridor will be diverted to Java Road, Kam Hong Street and King's Road;
13. Traffic along Wharf Road slip road heading for westbound Island Eastern Corridor will be diverted to westbound Wharf Road, North Point Road, Java Road, Tong Shui Road and King's Road; and
14. Traffic along Tsing Fung Street Flyover will be diverted to the slow lane of westbound Victoria Park Road and Gloucester Road service road.

Phase III - From 4am to about 7.30am:

1. A section of Hing Fat Street between Causeway Road and Gordon Road;
2. A section of Electric Road between Yacht Street and Park Tower;  
3. A section of Lau Li Street between Hing Fat Street and Electric Road; and
4. A section of Tsing Fung Street between Hing Fat Street and Electric Road.

1. Traffic along eastbound Causeway Road heading for Hing Fat Street will be diverted to eastbound King's Road;
2. Traffic along westbound King¡¦s Road heading for Hing Fat Street will be diverted to westbound Causeway Road;
3. Traffic along southbound Electric Road will be diverted to turn left into Yacht Street except access for Park Tower;
4. Traffic exiting from Park Tower carpark will be diverted to Electric Road and Yacht Street; and
5. Traffic along Electric Road heading for Tsing Fung Street will be diverted to Yacht Street.

Phase IV - From 5am to about 9am:

Road closure:

1. A section of westbound Island Eastern Corridor between Eastern Harbour Tunnel exit and down ramp slip road leading to Man Hong Street.

1. Traffic from Eastern Harbour Crossing exit for westbound Island Eastern Corridor will be diverted to use Hong On Street, Tai On Street, Shau Kei Wan Road and King's Road during the closure of Man Hong Street slip road.

Phase V - From 5am to about 9.30am :

1. A section of northbound Tai Hang Road flyover to westbound Gloucester Road.

1. Traffic along northbound Tai Hang Road flyover towards westbound Gloucester Road will be diverted to Gloucester Road service road.

Phase VI - From 5am to about 2pm :

Road closures:

1. A section of northbound Gloucester Road between the u-turn slip road beneath Tai Hang Road Flyover and Kingston Street;  
2. A section of southbound Gloucester Road between Gloucester Road service road and Causeway Road (access to Tai Hang Road flyover southbound is allowed after 0930am);
3. The fast lane of Great George Street towards southbound Gloucester Road;
4. Sugar Street;
5. A section of Paterson Street between Kingston Street and Great George Street; and
6. A section of westbound Kingston Street between Gloucester Road and Paterson Street.  

Traffic diversion:

1. Traffic along southbound Causeway Bay Flyover will be diverted to Gloucester Road service road (access to southbound Tai Hang Road Flyover is allowed from 9.30am onwards);  
2. Traffic along Great George Street will be diverted to northbound Gloucester Road;
3. Traffic along eastbound Yee Wo Street will be prohibited from turning left onto Sugar Street;
4. Traffic along southbound Paterson Street will be diverted to turn left onto eastbound Kingston Street and northbound Gloucester Road;
5. Traffic along Cleveland Street will be diverted to turn left onto eastbound Kingston Street and northbound Gloucester Road; and
6. Traffic along northbound Tai Hang Road Flyover will be diverted to northbound Gloucester Road and Gloucester Road service road.

(B) Extension of Lockhart Road, East Point Road and Great George Street Pedestrian Precinct:

     Road closure for the pedestrian precinct at Lockhart Road (between Cannon Street and East Point Road), East Point Road and Great George Street (between East Point Road and Paterson Street) will be extended from zero hour to midnight on February 28. The roads will re-opened to all vehicular traffic from zero hour on March 1.

(C) Suspension of parking spaces:

1. All on-street parking spaces at eastbound Lockhart Road between Marsh Road and Percival Street will be suspended from zero hour to 3pm on February 28;
2. All parking spaces (except disabled parking spaces) at Hing Fat Street public carpark will be suspended from 10pm on February 27 to 3pm on February 28; and
3. All parking spaces for motorcycles on the northern kerbside lane of Tung Lo Wa Road between Lin Fan Kung Street West and King¡¦s Road will be suspended between 3am and 8.30am on February 28.

(D) Suspension of Taxi Stands:

     The following taxi stands will be suspended from 4am to 7.30am:

1. Electric Road near Yacht Street; and
2. Lau Li Street near Hing Fat Street.

(E) Suspension of Tin Hau Public Transport Interchange (PTI):

     The Tin Hau PTI will be suspended from 4am to 7.30am. During the period of suspension, the following temporary public transport arrangements will be implemented:

1. GMB Route 49M will omit the routeing via Hing Fat Street, Tin Hau MTR Station, King's Road, Ngan Mok Street and Lau Li Street;
2. GMB Route 39M will be converted to circular route and omit the stop at Tin Hau MTR Station;
3. The terminus of cross-harbour routes 914 and 968 will be relocated to Tung Lo Wan Road opposite to Queen's College; and
4. The terminus of bus route E11 will be relocated to Causeway Road near Queen's College.

(G) Suspension of bus stops:

1. Bus stop at Hing Fat Street outside Hing Fat Street public carpark will be suspended from 4am to 7.30am; and
2. Bus stop at Gloucester Road outside Gate 6 of Victoria Park will be suspended from 5am to 2pm.
