The Lands Department this afternoon (February 22) held the third land auction of the 2009-2010 financial year. A Government lot in Tseung Kwan O was sold for $3.37 billion.
The lot, Tseung Kwan O Town Lot No.76 at Tseung Kwan O Area 66B, Tseung Kwan O, was sold to Group Allied Limited. The opening bid was $2 billion. Tseung Kwan O Town Lot No.76 has a site area of about 12,300 square metres and is designated for non-industrial (excluding godown, hotel and petrol filling station) purposes. A minimum gross floor area of 40,590 square metres must be completed. The maximum gross floor area is 67,650 square metres.
The auction was conducted at Tsuen Wan Town Hall by Deputy Director of Lands, Mr Graham Ross, who was assisted by Chief Estate Surveyor, Ms Regina Wu.
