The Shenzhen Wenjindu Port Passenger Clearance Area will be closed from midnight, February 22 this year until August 2012, for reconstruction work. Clearance services for passengers, including cross-boundary buses and private cars, will be suspended. Clearance service for goods vehicles will not be affected. To minimise the inconvenience to travellers during the period, arrangements have been made to provide clearance service to cross-boundary students travelling by school coaches. Affected cross-boundary buses and private cars will also be directed to use other cross-boundary control points.
Cross-boundary visitors should plan their trips well in advance and check the latest traffic conditions through various channels.
