Police are investigating a traffic accident in Yuen Long last night (February 14) in which a man was killed and a woman injured.
About 9.50pm, a car driven by a 20-year-old man was travelling along Wang Lok Street towards a sewage treatment works, and allegedly lost control crashing a tree on the roadside.
The man was certified dead at the scene. A 20-year-old female passenger, who sustained slight injuries, was taken to Pok Oi Hospital in conscious state.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North, are under way.
