Police are investigating a murder and suicide case in Tsuen Wan yesterday (February 3) in which a 31-year-old woman and a 2-month baby boy died.
About 5 pm, a 30-year-old woman made a report to the Police that a woman was standing dangerously near a window in a flat of block 6 of Discovery Park. Police officers sped to the scene and located a woman and a boy lying on the flooroutside block 6. They were certified dead by the ambulancemen at scene.
Initial investigation revealed that the 31-year-old woman held her 2-month son and jumped from height.
Post-mortem examinations will be conducted today (February 4) to ascertain the cause of their death.
Investigations by the District Crime Squad of Tsuen Wan are underway.
